Mini bus caught fire in Sambhal

A mini bus caught fire near Lakhanpur village on Sambhal-Ganwa road in Kaila Devi police station area at around 8 am on Saturday. There were nine people in the vehicle including six students. The students had to go to Aligarh Muslim University for the entrance exam. When the fire broke out suddenly, everyone jumped out and saved their lives.
When the fire brigade team did not arrive, passersby tried to control the fire by bringing water from nearby. By then the mini bus had completely burned. Six students from Mohalla Chaudhary Sarai, Deepasrai and Sarayatrin of the city study in Aligarh Muslim University. Their entrance exam for admission to the next class was on Saturday.
That is why they were travelling by mini bus. Apart from six students, there was a driver and two other people in the bus. Bus driver Mohammad Yasin said that while taking the students on Sambhal-Gawan road, suddenly smoke started coming out of the bus. Students and other people were immediately taken out of the bus.
After this, the bus suddenly caught fire. After getting information about the mini bus catching fire, Kailadevi police station’s acting in-charge Harendra Yadav reached the spot. Information about the incident was taken. The police station in-charge said that the driver has informed that the fire broke out due to a short circuit in the wiring. On the other hand, after the accident, all the students left for Aligarh in another vehicle.
